    Anybody play with these ?

Knowing the folks on this board, and reading the title of the thread, I was sure it was going to be about women's jiggly bits.

Who has tackled their electrical mess?

2400, you are a gentleman and a scholar and I'm pretty sure I now owe you some Blue Numnums. I do have an ohm meter, now that you mention it. Owned by the same grandpa that gave me the boat. And old thing with a needle (not digital) but it still functions. I was attempting to use it, however I...

Who has tackled their electrical mess?

An Eagle something or other from the 90s.

Who has tackled their electrical mess?

Can you expand on this? I guess I'm not sure what you're talking about. My depth finder is ancient. I'm not sure it has fuel flow capabilities.

Who has tackled their electrical mess?

Clarification: You don't have to spoon with me under the console. You can perch yourself on a chair and snag brewskis out of the cooler for yourself and I, dish out thoughtful advice, tell me what I'm doing wrong, or just provide emotional support. Or, tell me I'm an idiot and should have...

Who has tackled their electrical mess?

Good point. I may do both. I really want to figure out those switched. These wiring diagrams give me something to go on. Then another fuze panel will be a little extra protection. Now...who wants to help? There's a case of Blue Tasties in it for ya...

Who has tackled their electrical mess?

I quick sent an email to Alumacraft customer service and they sent me original wiring diagrams for my boat. They're pretty close I think. Not perfect, because the switch panel is missing at least one switch, but it should definitely help eliminate a bunch of the wires. Plus I can finally...

Who has tackled their electrical mess?

Hmmm...new fuse box with master switch. I LIKE that! Do they make marine fuse boxes or are they all run-of-the-mill varieties? I'm not sure how much more I'll need to add to my boat, but that's not a bad idea for future project possibilities.

    Panhandling....

What I don't understand is how folks actually attain unemployment, and not for seasonal or injury reasons. When I was laid off from my last job, I tried getting unemployment to help. Part of the deal was you had to make three contacts with NEW business that you were willing to take a job with...

Who has tackled their electrical mess?

Good advice. I have a beat to hell iPhone that will get the first charge.

Who has tackled their electrical mess?

Ok. I think I figured out what I need to do. Run positive from the fuze panel to the switch and the switch to the USB. Then run the negative from the USB to the fuze panel. I believe I saw where a bunch of grounds run there, so I should be able to just tie in. Think that'll work?

Who has tackled their electrical mess?

So if I run my USB to the fuze box, I don't need to run a wire all the way to the battery, right?

Who has tackled their electrical mess?

Yeah that makes sense. I suspect if I start tracing and labeling, I'll get things figured out. I know there are at least six wires from the old motor that go to nothing. Finding those would be nice. The hard part is just the location. On your back with hands crammed up inside, a light in your...

Who has tackled their electrical mess?

I'm thinking of tackling the mess under my console. There are wires there that I know don't do anything, and I'd really like to get things less crazy looking. Anyone attempted this? Any tricks or advice? I really want to install a USB charger, so by figuring out what's useless, I should be...

    cleaning walleye

Just on 50-inch Mushkies. - - - Updated - - - I've always enjoyed filleting fish, for no other reason than the satisfaction of seeing a job well done. Nothing makes me grind my teeth like watching someone hack up a fish because they're lazy, thus leaving 50 percent of the edible meat on the...

How do you know this wasn't post-attempt pose? Besides, big fish on light walleye tackle, methinks that battle lasted longer than the 30 seconds modern ski chasers promote.

    Megaquon

He's coming to the Vikings. Based on recent history, he's either going to suck, won't be surrounded by the right people, or we'll trade him JUST before he breaks out for an NFL record of some sort... Just you wait.

    cleaning walleye

Sounds like my wife! When we first started going out, I was pretty proud to fillet up some fresh crappies for her (I'd been told all my life how great I was at filleting fish). The next 45 minutes involved her gagging on teeny, tiny bones and then digging them out of her gullet. It was then...

    Walleye Alfredo

I appreciate fish recipes, however I've never had enough in my freezer to warrant varying from frying or baking. But I'll definitely keep this in my back pocket, just in case I start gill netting or something.

    NFL Draft tonight

Carson is going to rack up some solid frequent flier miles. God knows he's not going to want to actually live in that armpit state.
