    Northern MN is pretty unique. I would argue you could leave out SD but i was being nice:). The other states make up for SD big game, and ND has the upland, waterfowl, walleye, perch(ice fishing).

    Ive made walleye cakes a few different ways and they are good. Its a good way to get rid of some frozen walleye in the winter. I don't keep pike but they would probably be the best for this because you would get larger firmer flakes that hold together.

    Otter XT Hideout?

    I think cottage weighs 80, so yeah it is heavier. My issue with hideout would be is the sled big enough to put anything in? I run pretty lightweight and i still manage to fill my cabin sled early ice once you throw in auger, 11# tank, portable buddy, minnows, bucket, rods, lunch bag etc.

    Just to warn you not all milk crates are created equal. Usually if they come in fancy colors and designs they are not the true milk crates and are just meant for storage and will break easily in the cold. The real deal are getting tougher to find, I got mine at Tractor Supply last year.
