    tip to tip, and yes 25" is large. Ive got two at about 23.5" this year, 24" is about the biggest I've shot. I always wonder when you hear of these guys that claim upper 20's to over 30". However i drive by some every day around Bismarck that make me wonder!!

    It looks like they revamped their line of reels, including the sienna and sedona, unfortunately at this time it doesn't look like any of them come in the 500 model. Will be interesting to see if that changes.

    It looks like starting Dec 1st, the temps are supposed to be highs around freezing, lows in the teens for Bismarck area. Might be on the ice the weekend of the 10th, if not 17th for sure. Last year i was on 5" on the 5th, the year before i was driving on thanksgiving weekend!

    I'm not really sure but i think the hatches come from New Mexico and are kind of the go to. I know at least one of the Mexican restaurants in Bismarck actually makes runs down there and brings them back, so there must be a reason for it.
