    I made jam; lots and lots of jam and we sold sold them at farmers markets and foodie stores and shows. One flavor was bourbon peach habanero jam. The jam was made using local fresh peaches and habs.... hard to do here but here is a work around and it is great on chicken, esp wings. 2lbs wings...

    Meat sticks and smoked cheese chunked up in zip locks, non banana fruit, braunschweiger and onion on rye, sardines, beer, soda, tea, water and or gatorade.

    making spinners

    My 5 year old daughter helped me put some together last year- any color was cool as long as it was pink-n-purple and had enough beads to make a small necklace and had 2 blades. It caught fish.... I usually do as others have said, just enough beads to clear hook and sometimes 1 or 2 beads up front.

    Homemade Onion Rings

    Agree on the dredge in flour/cornstarch first then into an egg wash and into panko crumbs. Like the poster above, season the flour well!

    Pressure canned fish

    Look for "Ball's Complete Book of Home Preserving". It has a section on pressure canning low acid foods including meat, fish and shellfish. My copy is buried in storage so am no good for recipes at the moment.
