    lender/insurance question.

Because you don't own the house that the insurance claim is on...The bank does, therefor its the banks money and they will distribute it as they see fit. The fraud in banking is unbelievable and the mortgage crises made it more difficult for everybody going forward. You might get more relaxed...

    lender/insurance question.

Banks have to protect their ass because of all the people that try and screw them over. Remember its not "Your Money" unless you own the house free and clear. The bank very likely owns more of your house than you do, which is why they control the money. If you don't want to deal with banks its...

    Brew Your Own Beer

I have all the equipment that was given to me by someone who wanted to get rid of it. I have made about 10 batches or so. You can get some decent beer with the extract kits but i never thought any of it was great. To get the good stuff you need to be somebody who likes to experiment and really...

    Insane Mountain Bike Ride

That video looks to me like it has been sped up. Maybe not but some of the stuff just doesn't look right. Cool either way though. I have been wanting to go to Whitefish in the summer and do some downhill. I'm not sure its a good idea at 33 though!

    Garage Lights

Id put a 96" 4 bulb t8 fixture above each stall. I have no experience with LED bulbs, i currently have the T8 HO fluorescent tubes and they do the job. I haven't had one burn out since i put them in 5 years ago. Also, since were talking about garages. Install good insulated doors right away...

    NDA Lake Winnipeg

When we went up the first time a few years ago we hired a guide for 2 days. I'm actually glad we did because the first day was so foggy you couldn't see anything and the second day was basically white out wind conditions. I'm not sure we would have even ventured out without a guide. Its also...

    Pheasant Opener

Haha, i guess 42 birds does sound like a lot but for this land it really isn't. Typically in the first three weekends we shoot 100-150 birds of this land. After that it doesn't get hunted much. I usually make it down late season for a day after the crops are off and there are even more birds...

    Pheasant Opener

I hunted down by Elgin both days this weekend. We did get 7 man limit's by early afternoon both days but the numbers are down compared to the last 4-5 years. We didn't see many young birds at all, I would say only 1/4 of the birds we shot were young. All the birds were in the sunflowers.

    Mini Van

I thought they had maybe resolved some of the tranny issues, but maybe not. My last dodge truck lost a tranny at 40k. Its amazing how that company can't seem to get transmissions figured out. Never another dodge product in this guys driveway.

    Mini Van

Weird a Dodge vehicle dropping a tranny haha ...I think all those early Dodge/Chrysler minivans had some serious tranny issues. I don't know anybody that owned one that didn't have to replace it.

    Sad deal

Terrible...Makes me wonder if he was possibly a member of this site:(. I don't duck hunt to know how this could happen, but i do fly fish and have been in a couple sticky situations in streams. Do duck hunters wear wading belts like fly fisherman do to prevent water from filling up waders?

    Poor bastard!

I was able to watch from my office window as it was trapped by JC Penny's loading dock, then took off and followed the mall around by the Grizzly's entrance and Targets entrance and ran across 7th St and then behind the police station. It was pretty funny watching people scatter as a Bull Moose...

    ND DUI laws

Damn near impossible to get a cab in Bismarck. I have literally stood outside for 2 hours before I figured out a different way home. Thankfully I'm older now and don't go out very much anymore. The college towns (Fargo/GF) have much better cab networks. When I was in GF a decade ago they had a...

Portable Ice Houses: Flip Over vs. Pop-up

For you guys loading Otters by yourself. Go get a pair of ramp ends at Menards and cut your boards to fit in the bed of your truck. I pull my Otter thermal up them no problem.

    Pooping sparrows need to go

Some of my fondest memories as a young kid on my Grandparents farm was arming myself with a BB gun and a flashlight, and going into the barns at night. Grandpa had to put a 1 pump limit on the BB gun though, a few to many vent holes in the top of the quonset.

    taking a train

The train doesn't go to Great Falls, it follows along HWY 2 up north. I Don't have any kids, but I would not put a teenage daughter on that train alone, not worth even the tiny risk. One of the times i took it, Border Patrol came on the train at one of the stops in MT and took a couple people off.
