She looks a little "road hard and put away wet" for my taste. With those tats and implants i don't think she is the type of girl that "settle's down". Also be cautious. If they are Hot, Cool, and not crazy, its probably a Tranny. Please refer to the Crazy/Hot Matrix.
Probably hitting the ice for the last time this coming weekend. Has been a good season for me. Only 3 busts out of about 15 days. The good news about living in Bismarck is that i can quit ice fishing one weekend and be in the boat the next.
I'm amazed at the number of 20' glass boats I see fishing the Missouri each spring. A guy just has to accidentally drift onto a sandbar with those things and your screwed. I've seen some of them beached beyond belief , laying on their side, with guys in the 35 degree water trying to get them...
It was Dick Heads, then Richard Craniums, then Chips, now I'm not sure. Chips used to do live betting on the Triple Crown. It was awesome, the place was always packed. They quit doing it about 5-7 years ago, I haven't been back since.
You don't have to go overboard like a lot of guys do. You can get away with two rods. One 32-36" MH for the rattle baits. One 32" M for spoons/bladebaits. Put quick snap on to change lures quickly and there is no need for 5-6 rods. I have went both times with 3 rods. Caught my biggest fish on...
I would'nt rely on an iphone for GPS or anything in the cold. If you haven't noticed already they lose battery life quickly and will literally just shut down if the phone gets cold leaving you stranded. Iphone operating temp is only down to 32 degrees. Apple geniuses my ass!
Get Hyfax right away. Not only for sled wear, but it makes it easier to pull by hand for early ice, and it tracks much straighter behind a tow vehicle. I can confirm, it is a total PITA to put them on after the house is together.
My old Strikemaster with Tecumseh wouldn't run laying down, it would just quit. Not sure about the Solo's. The Honda purrs like a kitten in any position.
I typically always have a better bite at sundown for winter walleye. Depth is the though part. I've caught limits anywhere between 8' to 40' this year depending on body of water. It's all trial and error. I've found the last few years ive done pretty well at the same spots, same depths, same...
Thanks guys. Maybe i just need to go down to Scheels and talk to them or see if they will let me look at the Lakemaster chip. I'm assuming even though it says SD Oahe it must extend north to about Beaver? Beaver and south is about all i'm looking for.
That right there is all I'm looking for. Any way to figure out what that is? I get there is no river chip that is accurate but it's nice just to have contours. I can adjust for depth myself. I have a buddy that has an old school gps with countours as well.
You wont be able to close the tonneu cover with an Otter, the sleds are to high, not sure about the Frabill. In a crew cab chevy the otter cabin actually has to go in backwards and then the lip of the sled rests a little on the tail gate.
Yeah, that's the one I saw but that just says SD Oahe. I thought i had read somewhere that somebody makes a decent chip that goes north to about Hazelton. The question is who and is it compatible with hummingbird.
I'm about to buy a Hummingbird Helix 5 for river boat/atv ice fishing. I will mainly be using this on the river/oahe from Bismarck to SD border. When I look at the lake master chips it doesn't say anything about ND Oahe or Missouri river? Is there a good ND Oahe map for the hummingbirds? I don't...
The Otters are tough to beat. Best sleds and poles for sure. They also have a lot of good accessories. I have about a 5 year old thermal top cabin. It's been a great house. Id buy another Otter in a heartbeat. Keep on eye on Reeds Sports, they can have some great deals this time of year.
I finally bit the bullet and bought an ATV for ice fishing/lake cabin. Now I need a trailer. I don't want to go to huge because i will be keeping it in my garage. I've been looking at a couple Aluma trailers. The 63"x 10' & 68" x 10". Would these work well, are they good trailers? Should i get...
Portable buddy and 11# tank is the best combo for a portable IMO. I have an otter thermal top cabin and I have never been cold even in -30 wind chill. I never have my coat on in the house and run it on low quite often. It's nice to fish in peace rather than listen to those damn sunflowers.
Wentz isn't going in the first round, maybe not even the second. No team is going to take that kind of risk on a guy who is jumping up two levels in competition. This is a good thing for him because he would struggle greatly if he gets thrown on the field right away. His best bet is to be a...
What kind of discounts should a guy expect to get on a 2015 holdover truck now that the 2016's are on the lots? I'm looking at 2015 GMC/Chevy's. They did update them for 2016 so i feel like the deals should be pretty decent. A lot of them show discounts of around $7,500 just browsing online. I...
