When do you call it a summer-

As far as boat fishing and going to the lakes I don't stop until the ice keeps me off the water. It's always our goal to go musky fishing the day after Thanksgiving--it seems like it works out once every couple years. What feels like the end of summer for me is when I start bird hunting, so...

what company has the worst customer service you have had to deal with ?

Yes, love their products but customer service is something to be desired. I had a problem this spring with a brand new unit and was getting nowhere for weeks until I managed to get in touch with the manager of the CS department. Once I got a hold of him my problem was resolved in a matter of...

The first step is admitting you have a problem....he just did that. Secondly, we're talking about a human being here, and I think some people recognize this has moved past internet entertainment, and the impact a problem like this has on Toby and everyone he knows. I wish him well. This is a...

No, I think is a good rule of thumb is to not boat like an idiot, dark or not. Awesome fishing after dark sometimes.

Yeah, I need to keep my cig plug for my portable XM and spotlight as well. USB will be nice for phones, iPads and the GoPro. Don't know why I didn't think about installing one of these sooner myself.....thanks again guywhohasgoodideasineverthoughtofmyself.

Ah, yes, that is a problem. They need to make a larger size for Coors cans and for my Miller Light Pounders. They would work with Coors bottles, however, which is how you should be drinking the banquet beer anyway. ;)

No reason to get coozies as everyone should already have a Yeti Colster!

    676 over the limit....

There needs to be some serious fines for this blatant overage, enough that it is going to be a real deterrent. Apparently it is currently not enough.

Pickled Musky with bonus perch for the pan~

If its legal, it's legal. Just glad Minnesota upped the minimum size to 54 inches this year. i have a walleye replica from Artistic Anglers I will put up against any skin mount. And mine will look the same forever.

Pickled Musky with bonus perch for the pan~

Yeah, I was pretty surprised how many fish were in those Muskies too. In the fall we will use suckers from 15 to over 20 inches, and even a small Muskie will t-bone these big suckers. The small Musky I posted today from this weekend hit a bait that was probably 1/3 of it's length. But people...

Snow, your antics are old and stale and best left on that other site. No melt downs for anyone on NDA.

    Useful Boat Hacks thread

I had posted this a while back, but sticking some foam noodle or pipe insulation material under your depth finder cuts out a lot of the vibration. At high speeds in rough water my unit would bounce around a lot, but this trick takes all that away and makes it real easy to read. - - - Updated...

Recommendation on a landing net please.

I've seen the Stowmaster on some musky shows and they look real nice as well. Nice to have that big net fold down.

    bad crash on dl

I can't even imagine how fast they must have been going to cause damage like that! The front of that thing is curled up like a soda can, and that is some tough aluminum up in the bow.

    Muskie in Red River?

That is a ridiculous comparison, musky are fresh water fish, and like I said it is the fastest growing segment of freshwater fishing today...not some "fetish" as you say. Just because you don't like to fish for musky doesn't mean others wouldn't like the opportunity in their home state where we...
