all you need is gps. if going to an area with little or no reception you will need to download the map ahead of time while on wifi or network

    Favorite Ice Fishing rods/reels

tucr bullwhip appears to have the same action/idea as the jm meatstick. Maybe even a bit more backbone. I was looking at them the other week. tucr's sure seem nice but their handles leave something to be desired imo for a 90 dollar rod. (personal preference). To be fair thorne's stock grips suck...

    Ice fishing by December?

driving back from bismarck on sunday we took some back roads and ended up there. stopped and walked out a little ways. Appeared to be about 2-3 inches but hard to tell just judging by the cracks and bubbles in the ice. for whatever reason the ice immediately in front of the landing looked...

Attempted Robbery At Local River In Minot Thwarted Off By Concealed Carry.

i hate those things. I like a regular coke, and those damn machines seem add a hint of orange or cherry flavor even when not selected. ps. you shouldve seen guywhosoldschool try to operate that machine yesterday at lunch. I had to do it for him bahaha

Estrus rules all. I don't think there's any way to possibly know from one day to the next. If the smell is in the air from even one doe, there be bucks chasin.

    6.5-300 Weatherby

im confused. (really, help me) 2 guns, same caliber, pushing a bullet "roughly" the same speed have different barrel life just because of case capacity? One gun burns over 60 grains of powder and the other burns 50? - - - Updated - - - wait, i thought we were talking about 6.5-300wby? - - -...

    6.5-300 Weatherby

im just not seeing the benefit. a guy could shoot 6.5wssm(.243ssm or .25ssm brass) and achieve damn near the same thing with a lot less thump and boom. all the while using less than 50 grains of powder

First the Butt Out... Now we have the Gut Shark

I watched this video several times before deer hunting last year. I like how the meat gets filleted off in big pieces instead of my usual hacking of chunks off and into game bags. I still have some practicing to do, but this is the best way ive seen done, especially for packing.
