    This is why most guys find a pair and don't stay from that pair. Really sucks when they redesign or discontinue. I used to have a really light weight pair of rocky's that I wore for like 5 seasons till the soles fell off. Now I have a pair of pronghorns and am not too pleased. The search continues

    I have my buddies many times in the early season take there boots of as fast as they can. Especially at the end of the day but even during the midday for lunch. They complain how hot there feet are. I have tried insulated but for this reason is why I use uninsulated.

    I have hunted all the way through deer season in uninsulated boots. I buy them a 1/2 size bigger an can put on thicker socks. This only works if you are moving around. I don't see the point in the extra weight. If doing a lot of sitting I wear insulated.

    Do they work?! Ask yourself this. Where would you put up a tree stand a long a strong 4 wire fence or by a gat or opening in the fence. Animals will in general use the easiest pat. This of course will have to be learned over time but I would guarantee you see a decrease in animal hits in them areas

    I was told one time there are only a few battery manufacturing facilities in the us and all companies get them from them. No difference other than type/class of battery. I would look who has best warranty

    Cabelas has sale on pfds right now. Get a self inflating one. A lot more comfortable to wear. I wear mine the whole time I'm in the boat.
