    this is what i use... prolly adds 1/4" over the top of the rail with rounded phillips screws on the outside and available in 1 1/4" and 7/8" for different sized rails... it is a scotty mount and also fits ram rod holders... doesn't interfere with my tarp...

    What do you do when not hunting/fishing?

    we have 2 widows with houses to take care of (wife's mom and mine), along with our own... all 3 are older houses with long "to do" lists... also love to build things out of steel when i have time...

    after sales management and/or self employment since '92, i just took a job as a rental coordinator... i will get paid for every hour i work now, and even get paid sometimes when i don't work, and get weekends off :cool:... crazy...

    c, maybe p, r... not a big pic or mount guy... i'm pretty anal about thinking about exactly how i hooked up though (speed, direction, color, distinct action, bottom contours), and try to repeat it for others in the boat... mostly, i'm just thankful it's not a big kitty or goldfish... been all...

    hey rowdie, i just made the switch last year and am really enjoying it... got a 20' g3 with a blue 90 and added an elite 7, 80# 60" terrova with i pilot on a puck, and some ram rod holders... most toons have either 7/8" or 1 1/4" rails, and you can get rod holder mounts for either and fit fine...

    What is the biggest Walleye you have ever caught?

    i rarely weigh bigger fish, but the longest i did... few years ago at tobin i landed a 32 1/2" eye... only weighed in at 9.7#... first week in july and just spawned out... she was shaped like a beat up 1# sauger... other than that, have only had a couple over 10#...

    20' g3 fishing toon with a blue 90 new last summer... been working with her on retrieving, but better at finding cats and northerns so far... got lots of work to do... can't get the walleye skin to stay on the dummy long enough to get much training in...
