    ND House Bill 1169

Please support this bill. These permit to carry laws never should have been implemented to begin with, the second amendment is our CCW permit! Unless you lost your rights to own a firearm you should be allowed to carry...

Hunting land for sale $376 dollars per acre

I agree but it's getting harder and harder to find land including the mineral rights. Those should have never been allowed to be separated IMO but there's no putting that snake back in the can.

    Anyone still bow hunting?

Went last weekend but hung up my bow Monday. Saw several bucks that had shed already and the deer were struggling just to survive. Hoping for an early spring.:(

Hunting land for sale $376 dollars per acre

Yep. Mostly water and had a USFW easement. Guessing some NR bought it for their own duck hunting paradise.

    more weather

Didn't you hear? They changed it to "climate change" to suit their needs. As if the climate hasn't been changing for eons! I could sure use some global warming right now!

    Coming Upon Winter Kill

My guess would be a couple things, stress and or grain overload. Saw lots of deer in corn fields, too much corn is toxic too them. I haven't seen any dead deer yet but several of the bucks have already shed antlers and they look real skinny already which happens earlier when they are stressed...

    Coming Upon Winter Kill

There's so damn much snow already that the deer are having to run down roads. Damn near hit 2 herds this weekend. There is going to be a lot of dead game by spring. We can kiss 50,000 tags next year away. Hell they might have to close the season completely. It's gonna be ugly.

    Trespass Bill

A bullshit no trespassing law isn't going to stop dumbasses from breaking the law. It's only going to hinder law abiding people. There are so many absentee landowners in ND it'll be a nightmare to try to locate the people that don't want to be bothered with being asked for permission. Most don't...

    Have you ever?

Never at work but one time out duck hunting I met a skunk walking into the slough. Shit my waders and smelled like crap all damn morning. Must of attracted the ducks because it was one of the best shoots I ever had. Probably just thought it was slough gas anyway.

    Brewer lake (cass co.)

Damn dickwads! Did you report it to any authorities? Might help them keep an eye out for the thieves and or get your stuff back if they find the bastards.

    Back up power

Nice having our propane powered backup generator wired directly to the house. A minute or 2 after the power goes out we are back up and running automatically.:D

    Rumor of ice jams?

Could they be concerned with ice jambs on the river and thinking about decreasing flows there fore causing Sak to rise and possibly weakening any ice on it?

Fishing With a Minnow on the Bottom?

We have always done this when perch fishing. Keep a rod with a heavier weight/hook on to stir up the bottom. Lot of times it will help keep moving fish in the area longer.
