    Yup,I'm with enslow,early season geese get the "B" team dekes,young and dumb and easy to decoy with shells and silhouetts.Later in the year shells make good filler dekes in the spread as well.

    We have'em in the ST Louise river system just south of Duluth minn,yellow walleyes are contaminated from the paper plant water discharge,cunsumption advisory for these fish,white belly "good" yellow "bad" donot eat. Totally different than Canadian gold walleyes from stained waters.

    Cooler water as stated helps,better yet regardless if you bleed them out its best to fillet(make a "v" cut) the laterial blood line out of each fillet,this is where the muddy tastes comes from...

    Skunk!

    Best thing you can use is "skunk off",comes in consentrate for your cloths and also a spray bottle for your pup in the field,works instantly!,my vet carries the stuff,not sure if pet shops carry it. Was your lab coverd in yellow juice? foamin at the mouth?

    old school instinctive shooting? broke my teeth on a old Bear and Blackwidow full and semi recurve bows,always shot cedar arrows as I was always broke,old man shot fiberglass arrows,lite poundage 40lb and 44lb draw weight.

    Leica Rangefinders

    Not sure about the refrib but I bought mine new(1600 version) 7 years ago,no issues,compared the sworovski,and leoupid 14,hands down the best glass and aqusistion,super fast laser lock even on moving targets,can't beat the red display in low light conditions either.
