    Consider yourself lucky in SD you would have to bring water with if you want to keep your minnows after a day of fishing if any of the lake water was used to keep the alive well fishing.

    Find the good cover sheltered areas near were they like to strut. Most times they will tuck up in that area and if your there ahead of them it can be quite good albeit a bit spooky since they tend to come in dead silent and from what ever direction your not looking.

    Here's hoping they are low. The way this one is set up as a slow soaker give me four or five inches to soak in deep and get a bit of runoff to help the ponds and lakes.
