    A number of years ago there were a couple yo-yo's that put a plane down on the ice of Upper Red Lake to fish. If I remember correctly, they were on the reservation share of the lake and got caught. Never did hear how that worked out for them, but I'm guessing it was expensive.

    Correct, those are USFWS employees doing the work. It doesn't say who is funding it, but I'd guess it's probably federally funded. Perhaps with some state partners from those places that prefer trout over walleye.

    I believe some of the problems with the water lines comes from they often build a house on slab, and then run the water line up to the side of the house and the water line enters the house through the wall on the first floor, not through the basement like we do in ND.
