    Will socialism work?

The only example I could ever site where socialism worked is in America BEFORE whitey showed up. People lived and worked together and shared what wealth they had, as in food and materials.

    pay to park ice fishing?

I'm was very unhappy about having to pay to enter the same parks that had been free my whole life as a kid. I guess in my mind, a state park was like Custer State Park in the Hills. I wouldn't have minded it so much if they had just made the campgrounds state parks, but areas like Revheim in...

    pay to park ice fishing?

Before the state took over the ramps, the CORPS started charging to use the ramps back in the 90s. I always thought that it was a bullshit move since the ramps were bought and paid for by taxpayers 25 years prior. They had been charging for a couple years and still no upgrades. One ramp had...

    You better think twice.

Are they gonna leave it? Or do they need to get it out?

    You better think twice.

I thought more people would respond. The article maybe didn't highlight that Deacon was on the bottom waiting for the cab to fill with water so he could open the door. Is the link not working?

This is a bad ice year!! Lot more water moving this year, and with these warm temps and WIND, guys be very careful driving anything out there.

    You better think twice.

2 1/2 weeks ago I seen a guy drive a full size vehicle across the lake from the NW side of the bridge to the old RR grade. There was OPEN WATER under the bridge!!! He was only a little over 1/4 mile away from open water. I was shaking my head then.

    Shore fishing tomorrow

It's really early, the bays will have ice in them for a while, but I'd not venture out on it. You should go driving around and let us all know!

    Stand your ground law

This has to be what that means. I've only bought 1 new gun in ND. I had to have it shipped to a ND gun dealer since I purchased it online. So I guess I'm a "registered" gun owner, but I wouldn't classify the gun as "registered". I still have it, as I don't sell guns. I have way more than 1...

I drove on by the state line on the 22nd. A bunch of Yates guys were there on Sat the 29th, but I didn't want to pile in there and figured it wouldn't be worth the time by town. I've had a couple bad incidents on the ice myself so I stayed off. Didn't here about the guys getting roped. Just...

I think after this wind and warm OAHE ice is done. I didn't go last Saturday, but should have. If the fish would bite a little better I might have went. I heard a guy lost a side by side 4-wheeler in Mobridge getting his house off. Lots of water running into the lake, and shorelines are a...
