    Missouri River rise

Look at the second chart that Obi posted. There are 6 diagrams. check the lower one in the second column. Shows CFS. The red line is inflow, the blue is outflow. The dashed lines are "predicted". I THINK I'm seeing what you're asking about. If not, then I'm confused too. In my little...

I've caught ONE in the tailrace too, in 40 yrs of fishing there. They can't be common.

    Storms

Haha, and now I'm a humorless sissy who doesn't get sarcasm. haha. yes. haha. For the record, I'm not on the river, although I do live in south Bismarck. Also for the record, I can not read minds.

    Missouri River rise

FWIW, between 9 PM last night and midnight, the river in Bismarck actually went down an inch or two. Saw it with my own eyes.

Missouri River - Idle speed only

Was wading last night, and with one exception, every boat I saw was going well above "steerage only".

    Missouri River rise

I'm confused. Your first chart is the same one that I've been kinda watching. If you are talking about what goes IN to Sak, then it's 85,400 cfs. with 60,000 coming out, right? They are "off" by 5600 cfs. I know it's not over yet, but it appears that the peak has been reached. Or that...

    String Trimmers

I have a 40Volt DeWalt, and love it. I can trim my yard, my elderly neighbor's yard, and my parents yard, all twice, on one charge. 2 speeds, and variable trigger. At low speeds it doesn't chew up the fence or the tree bark. At WOT it will tear a bird apart before you ever see the little...

Missouri River - Idle speed only

I'll have to raise my waders up around my ears. Maybe run a snorkel out the top.

    rod weight/fish size

The evening that you and your brother and Sluggo and I fished the rocks, I think I caught three. At least one was caught in the air. I think Sluggo caught a couple, and I believe you did too?

    Missouri River rise

Sorry for my double-post. I'm not accustomed to accessing NDA through a mobile device. Besides, I was busy doing other things, and not checking my email for your thoughts. My point stands though. You are quick to call the authorities clueless, stupid, and many other names, just because they...

    Missouri River rise

Is guess that just like there are a lot of sudden COE experts and armchair hydrologists, it’s easy to sit and complain about the brainless boat ramp managers, and how stupid people are who don’t put up barricades where you think they ought to be. They block off Fox Island because they don’t...

    Missouri River rise

The water in Bismarck is high, no doubt. It's still far below what it was 7 yrs ago. And we have a LONG ways to go to 150K cfs. And the walters are still hungry. Lotta crap in the water, but the fish are still there. Still feeding. Not that I like walleyes more than the carpet in my...

    Another DOG attack!

No lie. There's a guy who brings his two dogs to where I fish often, puts lights on their collars, and they tear all over the place. They're a treat when you're trying to land a fish. Karma got him last fall though. He was landing a fish, dog got in the way, lure got into the dog, and when...
