    14' or better yet 16' will allow you to use a hard-mount hitch on a tub/flip-over/Otter style ice house and leave them hooked together while on the trailer. When you get where you're going, you pull the whole rig off the trailer and go fishing.

    Agreed. Not as stiff as Kennetrek Hardscrabble Hikers (I have these) or Mountain Extreme. They fit true to size. I'm anywhere from 9.5EE to 10.5EE in most boots and my Denali's are 10EE, just right.

    Denali's are my favorite of the Meindl bunch. They had a sale the while back and I got a 2nd pair before they change or discontinue them as that's typically been my luck when I find something that works well it gets changed or discontinued.

    For $600-$700 you should be able to find a set of non-HD Cabelas Euro 12x50 in a bargain cave. I'd start calling the individual stores tomorrow if I were you. Pretty sure there was a set in Billings Cabelas fairly recently.

    Buddy has one on an 1880 Ranger. Flipped switch for the plug is in the transom splashwell. 6’ cable is plenty. Don’t need a bilge plug switch in the bow for cripes sake.

    A Sharpie is just as effective and WAY easier/faster than smoking a bullet. The sharpie can also tell you what’s touching and what isn’t relating to chamber/throat interaction, casehead/headspace, and neck/shoulder.
