I'll sell you one of these for $900:

mine's a little older, it's the CT, not CTS. I forget the difference. My glass is flawless though.
Summbitch! Tried to get a reservation for opener and they're already full. Screw you guys, I'm going to buy a MN license and hunt public land between Benson and Montevideo MN.
No fair, I was working supervised last week and missed this. If you mention me and loving and fowl again on the same page let alone the same post or god forbid the same sentence, you're out of my will!
Brightness and trueness of color of those older silver Swaro's can be beaten for sure. I'm not sure that resolution can though. I'm not sure anyone has caught up to Leaded Crystal for pure visual clarity/resolution.
i have a soft spot for Zeiss Classic 10x40 and 8x32's for the same reason.
If you wear glasses, the 12-40x60 Leupold is very hard to beat as they've got more eye relief than anything else I've ever used.
Angled allows you to keep a tripod lower (which means steadier) in the field but they SUCK on a window mount.
That's because you have to get the lead through them or the little bastards scurry down the hole. I'd probably pay normal movie theater rates to watch a video of you scrambling around trying to catch one that's un-shot though.
After diner, when the mushrooms kick in, Royce is planning to don a Fedora, fill a tobacco pipe that resembles a Tenor Saxophone, and show you 2 the what-for of dogs playing poker.
Round 7 or flat 4/5? Have you checked the pickup and boat plug for corrosion? My right-rear running light connector blade needs a little squirt of weasel piss now and then to clean up the connection. Brake and blinker work fine, running light no-worky when it's dirty/corroded.
LED = No need...
Start @ the back. Use old wires to pull/string the new wires. Do yourself a huge favor and get an LED re-wire kit if your trailer isn't LED lamps already.
Along the same vein as DM's comment, I can't fathom the number of folks who like to let the world know when they're going to be or are gone. Such as, "Going on my 1st XX hunting trip the XX week of Oct/Nov", or, "Taking a winter vacation the XX week of Jan/Feb". IMO, you might just as well put...
I'd say the below chart is the biggest factor in the changes you're seeing across the board from every manufacturer. More gears in the transmissions, more CVT's, smaller engines, lighter bodies, even down to larger diameter alloy wheels with large cut-outs and lower profile tires to save...
So, unless I missed something, hunters are one of the somewhat measureable tools that G&F have to regulate/manage the resource. Why would ND G&F then want to make a change to the system that would have "minimal changes to the overall deer harvest"? What practical impact would this make towards...
Pre-HD/HD-B I agree. I got 10x42's in '04, and they were bluish. I got HD-b's last yr and they compare very well to zeiss and Swaro. I've also owned the Zeiss in 10x and 8x. 2 good hunting buddies have Swaros, 1 is 8, the other is 10x. There is no wrong choice.
