    My Schnees Hunter II packs are from 2001, they're still in very good shape and do the job very well. I've put a LOT of miles on those boots. No break-in, never a blister/hotspot. Only thing I'd consider doing different would be to pay the extra for buffalo leather uppers, though at the rate...

    That's a Lowrance Multi-Function gauge. To get the RPM data to that gauge he's plugged into a NMEA port on the engine so it's likely right on. Must be something faulty with the analog gauge. Mystery 1/2 solved. On another note, that much chine walk would scare the beejeebers outta me.
