    I have 2 lightning Ice rods I hope I never have to part with. The 32"? with casting style seat and a baby Calcutta is my favorite for everything larger than panfish/perch.

    We ate a couple in AK while Caribou hunting. Chunked them up, seasoned, and pan fried. They were pretty much like eating sharptail.

    I read that yesterday, that's where I got the idea to make the Ptarmigan thread. I originally gave some thought to amending the WY Kangaroo article to have them released in ND to defend the Bighorns from mountain lions or some such.
