    There is one on a small pond in South Bismarck, that's heavily used, and typically people on it are successful. I thoroughly enjoy being able to take my kids fishing without bringing back 200 lbs of mud on each excursion.

    Like many here, the best day is a moving target. I swing back and forth from times with my dad, catching bullheads on the Mouse in Minot, to pike fishing with my girls.

    Rainy River 2016

    Not so much a fishing trip, but the Rainy River, and Boundary Waters Canoe Wilderness Area is great fun in the summer. Great fun. Unspoiled and uncrowded. Used an Outfitter out of Buyck, MN for several years. La Croix Outfitters.
