    It does occasionally happen that those slickery bullets aren't settled down @ 100 and shoot better groups @ 200-300 than they do @ 100.

    Actually I was mistaken, I was going from memory and tonight ran across my notes for that rifle. Avg velocity is 3825 with an ES/SD of 27/8 respectively.

    I keep fish in water in the fridge and so long as the water is changed out every day or two it'll last a week. Then, like wags says, sniff test, maybe press the flesh a little and make sure it's still firm as well.

    New hunting gear

    Mountain Hardware Piero pants are an excellent value. Very durable, good dwr coating, good sized pockets with good placement, a little stretch, lots of good earth tone colors. I wear them interchangeably with Sitka Ascent and/or Mountain pants.
