    When my wife fries fish or lean meat we use Olive oil, When I fry fish or lean meat we use butter. Sometimes I throw a slice or two of bacon in the pan for lean meat. Frying stuff in cast iron is top priority.

    The ones I knew of were heavy duty tough trucks that were tougher than nails and fairly common in the oilfield , Buddy Lawrence from Tioga used to move rigs and still had some that were built in the 40s in his fleet in the 70s and 80s. The newer ones were more square.
