    We have parker, luscious, and early gold pears. Haven't had one pear yet. I keep hopin' though. Glad to hear somebody gets pears up this way, so at least I'm still in the game.

    I'm tired!! Planted 25 Juneberry bushes, 25 American plum trees, 4 Black Cherry trees, 4 raspberry bushes, 2 pear trees, and I mowed the lawn. I think that is enough for one day. LOL!! Hope I can get 50% to survive 2 years. ON TO WATERING!!!! HaHaHaHa!!!!

    Mice in the boat GRRRR

    A buddy took his boat to one of those car wash places, doused his whole boat with hot, soapy water and scrubbed it down with a shop broom. It took like 15 gallons of hot water and Dawn dish soap, but he got the job done. Gave it a good rinse down, then added plenty of fresh air and sunshine.

    The G&F does do a good job on most things and I commend them for it. However, I have to respectfully disagree with you on their deer herd management. Especially the whitetail herd. They have not performed any surveillance work, aerial or otherwise, to collect hard data on whitetail numbers...

    I think it really adds to the enjoyment of the hunt when you get to where you want to be if you're not sweating profusely, breathing so hard you think you're going die, have blurry vision, and feel like you're going to throw up. I kind of weird that way. LOL!!!

    True Stuff LOV2HNT. Walking or more like hopping up and down the hills in the Sheyenne River Valley with a heavy pack is the best cardio workout I know of. Last time I was in the Mtns I didn't see a single treadmill LOL!!. However, I did see beautiful and rugged terrain in vast abundance...

    Your 12 Week Plan to Get in Shape for Elk Hunting Season

    I train how I hunt. I put my pack on my back with about 25-50 lbs depending on the stage of the game, grab my rifle, and start hiking the hills. When elk season arrives, I'll be ready to run up and down the mtns with all the gear I'll need. I HOPE!!! LOL!
