Well this is going to get interesting

What form of camouflage do you think would be capable of hiding it from the view of anyone driving down highway 1804? Not to mention from the Corps itself.

    meteorological pontifications...

Hah hah, someone is out on the river hunting. That's awesome. I have a friend in NC that would go as well, so long as a ND native guided him under these conditions. He's just that big of a waterfowler.

    meteorological pontifications...

Let's see, I suspect we will see some more snow, mixed up and tossed around by more wind, it will get colder before it gets warmer, and then spring will arrive later than I care for. Yep, I should be a meteorologist.

Rowdie, you are correct. The wind is not going to cut you any slack for a few days and will keep making a mess out of the roads. Drive safe!

would you do this to save your dog?

I am not a kangaroo expert, but that choke hold seems to be common in kangaroo fights. Lucky dog, and lucky guy. That roo could have kicked both their behinds.

    NFL News (Vikings)

The Vikings have shown that they are one of the most inventive teams in NFL history. I kid you not, I don't know if I have ever seen a team find so many ways to lose. And DirtyMike, I used to like you. Now I see you are a Cobways fan. Good grief....

Regrettably, we could be singing a duet as that's the same thing I have been telling people. It's no longer about the cause, it's about the win.

    Curse of Oak Island

So...what's your point? That it's quality programming? Hmmm, I may have to track this one down if it is JohnR approved. :) - - - Updated - - - when I was 10, maybe 12 years old I read all about the purported treasure buried at Oak Isle and the tricky mechanisms supposedly put in place to...

    Which do you prefer?

Blondes, unless I'm dating a brunette or red head. - - - Updated - - - oops, I should have read the question more thoroughly before answering. Boat fishing, with a blonde or brunette or redhead. I like waves.

Keypad Deadbolts on House or Garage?

I have used a couple different ones over the years. The place I have now had them installed on the shop and house, these were the mechanical ones. They seemed to be pretty durable, but a few years ago I put the new equivalents on at my parents' place and I had to replace them after about a...

I am a little confused by the Tribal Council's request for the Red Warrior camp to disband/go away. I know there are two camps, but what I don't know is why there are two camps. What's to stop the bad elements from the Red Warrior camp from simply moving into the Sacred Stone camp? Rowdie...

    vehicle fire extinguisher?

Yep, I've seen the end result of a fire extinguisher that wasn't affixed to a good surface in a vehicle. What a mess!

    NFL News (Vikings)

I was in the end zone at the Detroit Lions game where he boinked a PAT off the right goal post. You will never forget the thunk it makes in real life. It sure quieted the crowd around me who were all making jokes about "what if he misses".

    Mice in the house

The absolute worst are the jumping mice. Those long legged freaks don't like my traps at all but will jump 2 ft straight up to get into a bucket of sand. Glue traps are the only thing I've used with some success at catching them.

    A Nervous Father.............................

As the father of a nine going on nineteen year old, all I can say is that it's our job as dads to teach them to not put themselves in danger via bad decisions. If we do that successfully, life is good. Oh yeah, and as I get older it's less and less uncommon that I slip a shirt on backwards...
