    If they recommend a rem 700 it is not a sniper rifle unless they are running it. You were trying to sound cool is all. And that is a nice thing to take those guys out.

    How does one get a sniper ranger finder that sounds tacticool. Do you have to beat up said sniper and jack his range finder. Probably just a vectronix just any one can buy.

    shooting past 600 yards is easy the hitting part is where it gets harder. i would grab bsa or counter sniper and some blue box federal boolits and plug away

    My Bushnell elite 1600 arc will g to 1600 reflective and hillsides easy. 1200 on animals.

    They will put in a zero stop on a VX 3. I thought they just started that on the VX 6. isn't it 150 for just the the turret swap.

    what are you end goals with this rifle? what do you want to spend? both would help narrow some thing down. A 2.5-10x42 nightforce nsx would probably fit the bill

    open prairie and spot and stalk. I have not shot a deer that has known i am there since i can remember. My kid has shot 2 does and they didnt have a clue. I am not against running shots because if big daddy popped up at 150 running side ways i would kill it i just would prefer not to have it run.
