    you must have issues as I hold the button down - which I believe puts it in auto pilot -- not the gps pilot. It took me a month to next sunday to figure that one out. Anyway the non GPS works better in the wind. I have never had it do circles as you state - unless if the wind takes it way...

    I would never use the step --and i have a roller --- i back the boat in -- walk on the dock step into boat start - but boat in foward - reach over front and unhook. When i come back same sequence in reverse. If the accesses do not have a dock -- then yes the step would be worthwhile.
