    If I wasn't so busy at work and promised a snow fort to my 5 year old, I would pick up a couple 1.75's and stay pretty well zipped during this one. Man I hate a lot of snow.

    Those fish would have most likely sucked in a semi-lively minnow tail hooked on a plain hook as well. Even if it was not on the bottom. If you notice, the jig brings them in and the plain minnow closes the deal. Quite common on a tepid bite.

    Aging is annoying. I remember when I could eat anything and feel great. Now skipping fruit and vegetables makes me feel sluggish.
