    I did that on a doe a few years back with the bow. I still don't know how I shot that bad, but she only made it 5 yards and was dead in a couple of seconds. I've never seen that much blood from a deer that I've shot before. My best worst shot ever.

    Spotting Scope recomendations

    I purchased the 11-33x50 before last hunting season and I loved it. I used it all the time scouting, hunting, and works great at the gun range. I have nothing bad to say about it and loved that it wasn't so big and bulky.

    Sucks they label some counties that I need as "Full Coverage", which apparently is not the case. Guess I've have to do the 7 day trial and see if it would work.

    Nice! I was looking at their website and it looks like the only option is for the Midwest States, there's no SD only map. Is that the one you have? I'd be looking to put it into my GPS.

    Does Onxmaps have landowner information? That's the biggest thing I miss from not having Trax in SD.

    Never done it, but you can just download their free public hunting map to your GPS, works similar to the Trax. I'd rather have Trax, but that's a another story.

    If it were me, I'd include an AR in 223, I think that would have mass appeal now days. For the 2nd one, I'm not sure . . . a quality pistol would be nice.
