Got a decent picture of a couple of them by the Hazelton boat ramp in early April 2012, it was an early spring that year. Sent them to the FWS guy at Long Lake and he enhanced the picture and said the one had a transmitter on it.
Only way hooking up a newer unit to it would help is if your motor has Ipilot link, you could use the follow the contour feature to maybe keep you on the track you want.
You can also record tracks on your terrova with or without a graph attached, it's really easy.
I see the same thing with...
It's hardly been done snowing and blowing 40+ for 12 hours dude...I remember that big Christmas storm 4 or 5 years ago, it took some people 5 or 6 days to get plowed out.
Seems what I usually read is you want the imaging transducer to not read at plane in case you hit a log, etc. since that transducer is 300-400 to replace. I have a separate skimmer transducer for on plane readings. I'm a humminbird guy but there's a Y cable that both transducers hook into and...
Obviously it would be ideal if it could be light out when we go to work or school, but the sun comes up well after 8 in ND for pretty much all of Dec. and Jan. as it is without DST, I don't see how this would change much for kids catching the bus. Few kids walk to school anymore or walk very...
Drove by a couple lakes in that area that had quite a few pickups on them yesterday so access appears to be good. Probably will be a lot of changes by the weekend though with the big warmup coming.
Incredible that anything survives on their own during a winter like this in the eastern third of the state. Seems like they have been under a wind chill warning for a month.
Dude was lucky his legs didn't get tangled up in the bars or canvas while being dragged around! About ten years ago was unloading my boat and wasn't quite off the bunks and my friend started pulling the truck out, just about dumped the boat on the ramp. Luckily it was a 16' aluminum so we...
Big discrepancy between the eastern half of the state and the western this year. Certainly no worries in the eastern half, west of the MO river (including oahe/sak) it could get a little interesting if this continues much longer. Days are still pretty short so hard to melt much yet.
I get in the neighborhood of 8-10 W-2s and 1099s and have to file self-employment forms with expense deductions every year and I've never paid more than $170 to have a firm do my taxes in Bismarck. Turbotax ain't free either.
