We hunt 4b. I have since the late 60s. There have been years where the whitetail were everywhere. The next year they were far and few between. Mostly hard to find. We always see a few near grain fields. Not even close to the number of mulies.
It’s best to check her daily. The blood decreases and then they swell up. Don’t leave her alone until things look normal. Otherwise you may be raising a litter!! Once the males get a sniff they will be stalking her day and night.

I planted a five foot Evan Bali cherry tree in 2012. It produced well last year. The birds got most of them so I'm prepared this year with netting. I’m pretty sure this is a zone two variety so it should do well.
Looks like my set up. I start the seeds in small plastic tubs. After they have developed true leaves I gently move them into individual pods. If they are kinda spindly I just bury them deeper. Works real well with tomatoes.
