    If it’s an old school charger it might have “boiled off” the water due to excessive voltage. Newfangled chargers avoid that. A modern 3 bank shouldn’t eat water though. Unless it got set to the wrong battery type (wet, gel, lithium,blah blah)

    we have the pileated in the yard too - yes, they're hell on suet We have a male Indigo Bunting in the yard again this year. Talk about a bird that makes you do a double-take. Unbelievable. photo not mine And the red-headed woodpecker this year is a head turner too - with that pure white...

    I’m no longer bothered by them, not even a little bit. I can pull a dozen off on the way home and it doesn’t even register. The deer ticks and their diseases don’t thrill me of course, but they’re pretty infrequent compared to dog ticks.

    No problem. PM me the address and I’ll send some dried with instructions. If you’re in Devils Lake area it’s for sure prime time up there weatherwise. And although I’ve never foraged there, the trembling aspens growing in sand/gravel combo look ideal. I think about it every time I go fishing...

    Lilacs in full bloom are too late imo. Yours look perfect. First major flush of dandelions is surest indicator IMO. Lilacs in full bloom means nearing the end. Big morels (Mongos) but less of them and they crumble easier.
