    Nd dmv

Not the same, but similar situation with me and my old camper (travel trailer). The big differences were I did use it, just forgot to license it until half way through the summer. I didn't tow it around much, so I said F it and rolled the dice. Went in the following spring and they charged me...

    Radon Mitigation

SECOND THIS. Ryan is out of Fargo but he does travel quite a bit for his work. Dakota Radon is the business name. He found a plethora of defects with the system i had installed. Also, the installer should offer a free recheck after the system is installed/stabilized. Air things is top notch...

    Garmin

Christ, I thought I got a good deal at $854 last winter and i second everything Migrator Man says. Very easy to transition between whatever combo you want to run. Easy to update with Active Captain on your phone as well. I absolutely love the 2D sonar. I think I could use some tips on side vu...

    The season of rambling on

A couple 5 gallon jugs of diesel in the box of the truck won't hurt. When I pulled to Kalispell, MT I had fuel, a generator, jack, and tool box in my box. Never needed any of them, but worth of peace mind.

    Where to find fish!

I'll echo the McClusky Canal for smallies, still miss that hidden gem I used to visit 4-5 times/week.

    Headlamps

There is some great info on that forum. FWIW, I use Fenix for my headlamp and my pocket/handheld during home inspections and they blow my mind everytime i use them. I thought surefire was good back in the day, but IMO they are complete junk compared to Fenix. Been using both of mine for almost...

What lakes can you catch zander on in ND?

I object, the difference is quite noticeable in a Zander from the size of 6" and bigger once you've seen a couple of them.

    Lake Holmes

Anywhere around the island to the north of the boat ramp. Lots of people fish the far east tip of the island, or they did back when i lived around there four years ago.

    Ice Auger

No sure a drill set up would work for you shorthairsrus; I run a dewalt with 5AH batteries until the ice hits about 20" on the old 8" K-drill with clam plate. I'd recon I get 15 holes per battery in 20" ice, but i don't run and gun like most people. My kids are young, I usually hit a morning...

    Ice Auger

I've cut with a friends SM40v and my dad's Ion Gen3. Really couldn't tell you which is better cuz they were both awesome. I will say I liked the grip/feel/handle set-up of the Ion of the SM.

    Time for a Hub Shelter

Second the anchor comment here. It's not worth the crazy ND wind picking up instantly and sending your shelter over your head and wreaking havoc in the process (lessons learned). I always put that anchor in, attach my strap (the refuge comes with them installed), and position the house down wind.

    Time for a Hub Shelter

I have a Clam Refuge (insulated/thermal) I'd be willing to part ways with. It fishes me and two kids pretty easy. I'm looking to upgrade to the 5 sided Clam, rather than the refuge.
