    Yes. Flexible cable style is best. Reverse doesn't f them up like stiff wire versions... of which I've destroyed two sets.

    Go heated face shield. Buy scratchers that lubricate track for "no snow" use. Buy the kind you can't destroy by backing up if sled has reverse. - - - Updated - - - Stud the track if it isn't.

    Otter sleds are in a class of their own. You could put a CanvasCraft lid on an Otter sled. Been very very happy w mine for last 5 years or so - maybe 7?

    Fluorocarbon (Seaguar, etc). Extremely inert and resistant to sun/oxidation. Good 20 yrs from now.
