    Depends on the location. Fished around home on the weekends, and that has not produced. Fished at Sak during the week and over Christmas break 👍. West end of Sakakawea is always hot through Christmas

    There has been two different guides on another area lake, the one with a running joke about it, that hammered it hard last winter with snow bears. See they are back for first ice too. They advertise devils lake perch, but drive 45 miles and smash these little pot holes. Sucks when they wipe out...

    I would assume there is probably about 1000-1200 who actually fish it. It is nothing like the mobridge tournament. I fished the devils lake derby once, and that was enough for me.

    Mobridge ICE Results

    We ended up 16th place with 12.6lbs. Caught our fish Thursday up at Shaw Creek and then Friday and Saturday up in the Grand. Ice was turning to shit by Sunday when i got my permanent off. Was fun once again and looks like a lot of fish were caught!

    Oak Flooring Question

    I’m remodeling a farm house right now that was built in 52’. Has 2” oak tongue and groove on the 1st floor. Mixes of 8’, 10’, 6am’ and 4s. Had to patch in where stair used to be. Haven’t sanded and refinished yet, but will in the next few months

    Ya the 10 day doesn’t look favorable to making much ice.. Maybe north of oak would have more ice. Sounds like I’ll just bring down the wheeler and portable n leave the perm at home

    Anyone have an update from down by Mobridge? Tournament is only 10 days away. I’m sure there’s ice up in the Grand, but wondering if main lake froze up yet?
