    Absolutly nothing wrong with an HDPE culvert. This coming from a guy that does this for a living. Kick it in the ditch and fill it in. Make sure there are no sags in the middle otherwise issues with ice trapping water upstream in the spring.

    Pretty sure yesterday’s storm is going to finish off a lot of birds in my area. You re right tho, silver linings. Fishing will improve from the last few years. Lakes levels will hopefully rise a +12”.

    Have you tried leaving the heat on in the house for a day/ overnight? Should melt the perimeter as long as its not below zero and windy.

    If you didnt have the deer killer (25 06) on the payroll already id recomend a 270. Since you do, go for the 300 sized gun. Check out winchester model 70 in the extream weather finish. Leupold VXIII 4-14. That should get you close to $1500. Happy hunting.
