Winter is sure wearing on the deer!

Me and the better half went for a drive last weekend through the river valley. Lots of deer in small groups of 4-6 around fort ransom and down 46 which was good to see. Still quite a few pheasants cruising around as well. Hopefully we can avoid any bad spring storms. I've seen more pheasants the...

    2022 spring season

So who's itching to get out turkey hunting? I drew a unit 37 tag this year. I'll be out in the grasslands. Where's everyone hunting this spring?

    International Scout

Look up anything scout. They do restorations and driveability conversions, depending on how much you are willing to spend. Check them out on youtube. Scouts are awesome one of my favorite vehicles as I am an IH fan. I've actually been looking for a 79 or 80 scout ii, if you end up down a rabbit...

    Fur Prices

From what I've been hearing nothing really worth going after besides coyote and muskrats. Raccoons have been a tough sell for a few years now.

Favorite Gun in your safe thread

I have a Browning Buckmark 22 pistol my old man gave me as a welcome home gift when I got back from Afghanistan. It's insanely accurate and means a lot to me. My other favorites would have to be my Ithaca mod 37 12 gauge, and the Savage bolt action 22 rifle that was my first gun.

    Tim wells

Watching the videos of him smoke ducks and doves out of the sky with a bow is nothing short of impressive. Hell of a marksman

    Checking in

Hey folks, hope everyone's been well. Haven't checked in here very often but used to post a lot back in the fishing buddy days. I've still been out chasing deer, pheasants and fish but haven't posted in a long time.

    2020 Archery Opener

Haven't bow hunted in about 5 years, need to get back in the game. My early fall has been taken up with walleye fishing and chasing grouse and pheasants the last few years.

East Devil's Lake - Any help is greatly appreciated

I would also recommend casting jigs with swim baits or Rapalas near the bridges and rock piles, you can catch some decent sized pike and walleyes this way.

    Its Turkey Time

Unsuccessful again, unit 02. Not sure why I even bother applying for anything, I couldn't get drawn for a cold.
