None of the above. Pile of cracked corn, apples and leftover Jack-o-lanterns from Halloween.

Quaint little Fort Ransom property for sale

Actually, guywhoknowswords, PLEBIAN and PLEBEIAN are both accepted spellings of the word. Just depends on how many vowels you want to buy on Wheel of Fortune. - - - Updated - - - I really want to watch this and see how long it takes (and how far the price drops) before it finally sells. We...

Quaint little Fort Ransom property for sale

KDM, you think too SMALL...methinks the feller who owns this does that AND hunts wherever the heck he wants the remainder of the year. Definition of having cake and eating it, too. Guywhohastoomanychores, that's what the hired help is for. You think someone who spends this coin on east Nodak...

Just a little 500+ acre retreat near Fort Ransom along the Sheyenne River Valley. Few deer. Private fishing pond. Few more deer. Couple deer stands. Did I mention deer? Only $4Mil (well, $3.95 but who's counting???) https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=12&v=Uar03DBzsWM

I definitely would have just sucked it up if I broke my collar bone and had to sit out the rest of the season, too. Buncha pussies...

    Wooden Decoys

In my old job I got to duck hunt all over. One of the places was out east in PA. They are big, big duck carvers on the east coast. The guy I was with had an entire rig of hand-carved, hand-painted decoys that he just left in the middle of the Susquahana River all season. They used the rig to...

    What's everyone wear for waders?

I have neoprene waders for colder days, and light breathable waders for the rest of the time. I don't break out the neoprene unless it's absolutely necessary, especially since I walk in for most of my hunts. I've been really interested in those Banded Redzone waders, though. Seem like an...

    Deer with a growth?

Ya know, I bet if you brined that sucker for a couple days and seasoned it real good before a nice, long, slow smoke, it would taste just like -- naw...naw...I just can't go there.

    Flying fishing....

I saw that! Freaking hilarious. Love that show. - - - Updated - - - They catch a big, stocked trout with a drone too in a video from awhile back. That ones even gnarlier.

    Hunting 'Unposted' Private Land

I was pulled over and cited for a loaded firearm in a vehicle that was moving (buddy was going about 15 over because he's a dumbass). In North Dakota. By a Grand Forks cop who stopped us just inside city limits. We had just finished hunting snow geese in the spring, and I had two in the magazine...

    Pheasant opener 2017

How old is the pup? Young dogs I don't worry too much about natural retrieving. Sometimes that comes a bit later and with more experience. If they get older and it still isn't happening, I highly recommend force fetch. Amazing how going through a trained retrieve program can get other "kinks"...

    Direct Payments to farmers/ranchers

I'm kind of curious: how many modern ranchers put their herd out to pasture and rotate pasture land on a regular basis? If that's still common, is it regional? Only reason I ask is because the few ranchers I know of in the eastern part of the state keep their cattle in a yard and bring feed to...

    Pheasant opener 2017

I think, like every dang pheasant opener, the vast majority of birds are in standing crops. It's more apparent this year in places because numbers are down, but I don't think it's nearly as bad as opening day has you all buffaloed. Then again, I'm not sure why I want to convince everyone to stay...

    Pheasant opener 2017

I seriously want to know the argument for making a LAW that the pheasant opener can't be opened any later than Oct. 12. That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard -- especially during a year like this year.
