    At least 3 ounces from 10 FOW and deeper. I like to leave a furrow in the ground while I troll. Makes it easier for the walleyes to track.

    The only surefire way to catch walleyes is to declare you are SOLELY targeting drum, carp and maybe pike. It's the double negative. Throws off the fishing gods. Beyond that, I'm clueless. Obviously.

    Convenience or not

    These chips seem pretty benign. Doesn't look like they can gain data, just be read. So assuming whatever information on there is only valuable as a way to unlock doors or whatever, I wouldn't be all that concerned. Then again, this is just the tip of the iceberg.

    Really like my King Cat rods. Put some stout Power Pro on them and rip sunken stumps right out of the muck. They're awesome.

    Coworker just got back from going up there this weekend. He said the two tribs that dump in opened up and the whole system turned into chocolate milk. I think they wound up with a perch, two eyes and a sauger the entire trip.

    I was under the impression it's always the first Friday after the first Tuesday of the month. That's why sometimes it's the first weekend, and other years it's the second weekend.
