    guywhotrolls?

Thank you, GST, for continuing to live up to everyone's expectations on trying to turn absolutely any thread -- no matter how innocuous -- into a political pissing match.

    Sweet Jesus whats next

Dear Lord, please let my Johnson fire on the first pull this spring. Amen. For all us old duffers on here, this is a significant double entendre.

Lesson: For big box stores not known for online ordering, stick to Amazon.

    Sweet Jesus whats next

I envision the future will entail something like Google glass, in which everyone can wear their electronics and actually "see" the fish they're going after.

    Bushcraft camping

Haha! This is true. There was a sweet spot right after the big thaw and pre-skeeter that would have been ideal. I wouldn't dare in Fargo, though. Some transient would come along and take a dumb in my ear while I slept.

    Bushcraft camping

I had a real bad hankering to do this in the spring along the Red when I lived in GF and I knew the eyes were on the chomp. Pre-bug time and hungry walleyes...I'm not sure why I never did it! Figured I'd set up the rods with some little jingle bells and play "summer rattle reels" until the sun...

    Hamburger

We buy from Costco. Get the 90 percent lean. A five-pound bag of one-pounders for $16 I think. Tastes fine for what we use it for. We eat more venison than anything, but it's good to switch things up once and awhile.

Tiger muskie out of Devils Lake?

Well obviously, he's in the cleaning shack with a few fish. To do the above he'd have to stand next to his truck, where all the rest of the fish are packed in the wheel wells and under the back seat. Duh... :;:stirthepot

I should have guess that, among your many other accolades, you were also an expert rattlesnake handler.

    New Pheasant Opener Dates

Who was asking though? I mean, thanks I guess. But nobody I know was asking for an earlier or longer pheasant season. Won't matter to me anyway. I'm all about ducks until freeze up. Shoot a couple deer. Then chase roodies until the season closes. They could start it in September for all I...

    New Pheasant Opener Dates

Dumbest thing that's come out of Bismarck in a long time. Only bright side is there's even less chance of crops being down by then, which means 98 percent of the birds will be untouchable. Won't change the fact that the best time of year will still be November and on.

    Pickup Shopping

I honestly think my next truck will be a Yota. A buddy has a year older Toyota Tundra than my Ford F150 and he drives his like its stolen. Beats the piss out of it, and he hasn't had a single thing wrong. My truck, which I definitely don't baby but drive a bit more granny style than he does, has...

    Smoked Pork Should recipe suggestion

Holy crap -- potentially 7-9 hours of watching meat smoke and drinking beer. I may need to smoke more often! - - - Updated - - - Cashwise!

    Smoked Pork Should recipe suggestion

So, I bought a 9-pound, bone-in pork shoulder because it was on sale for 98 cents/pound. Thought it would be great smoked and then shredded for all sorts of BBQ goodness. Anyone have a rub/brine/smoke recipe they care to share? Thanks!

    Do-it-yourselfers strike again

Literally same thing with our old house. Could not figure out why the upstairs was done so well and the downstairs literally looked like it was slapped together with stuff from the bargain bin. It was after a few more clues (lots of living space but ZERO storage, way more parking space than...

    Do-it-yourselfers strike again

Ha! The people who owned our home before we moved in were a special kind of stupid. It was a single mom and her daughter, and I'm convinced they updated their home solely based on what was trending on Pinterest or HGTV. You should have to pass a test before they let you own a house. Yeah...

    Do-it-yourselfers strike again

I'm constantly reminded just how "special" our fellow humans can be. Case in point: My folks put a bid in on a cabin near Nevis, MN. Nice looking place on a good chunk of property. Room to grow. We were all pretty excited about the thought of having a family cabin to start making memories at...

So....the equations these miners are solving. Who benefits from them? I mean, are these equations that have been unsolvable and we need a machine to figure them out?
