    If you enjoy accuracy!

I’m restating what I remember regarding what someone else wrote from years of study and consultation with ballisticians from every major projectile, propellant, and ammunition company in the country and beyond. Remembering what you’ve read and regurgitating it is hardly “Talent”.

Possibly, just have to look up capacity of each. Barnsness has gone through the rudimentary 4:1 ratio of capacity vs. velocity many time in ‘Campfire and it’s also in at least 1 of his “Gun Gack” books. Basically whatever percentage you add in capacity, you’ll add 25% of that to velocity. So...

    .338 Norma Mag (only reading)

Ma Deuce, No!! 50BMG as a shoulder-fired sniper/Overwatch could see its role relegated to times when the shooter expects/intelligence suggests that armored transportation is going to be the only opportunity to engage the intended target.

    Coyote bullet

A-Max’d one @ 475 yesterday. Sitting, Quartering away, dialed 4.25 MOA elevation above my 200yd zero. Wind was 3/4 value @ 8-12, held the upwind hairline. Bullet went in just behind the ribs and exited the off-side scapula. Flop. Nothing dramatic about the entrance or exit. 22Creed on a...

    Tig Welding

Never had a single class. Never joined 2 pieces of metal together without some sort of purposely chosen fastener. Know what not to do is: “Don’t start welding your own stuff”. I can guarantee beyond a shadow of a doubt that I’d be the guy fixing things until they’re broken. I do envy...

    Coyote bullet

75 A-Max will anchor them pretty well and actually don’t wreck hides unless like anything else, they exit the paunch. And the 75 @ 3650 from the muzzle is 9fps behind the 40 by 150yds and is going 100fps faster @ 200yds. @ 250yds the drop is dead even and the 75 is drifting 2.5” less. Pass me...

If one is shooting a 223/Wylde/5.56, at least 1:8, and tied to a magazine @ 2.26", the 53 V-Max is pretty much the most BC and Velocity one it going to be able to tie together within those confines. @ 16", ~3100fps is about all you're gonna get. @ 20" and longer, 3300-3350ish. If a person has...

    Gas prices today~

Love's and Petro Serve being right across '94 form each other. Love's must have some immense corporate fleet agreements for Diesel Fuel as the price on the big billboard is always significantly higher than Petro Serve. Usually anywhere from $.50-nearly $1/gal more expensive.

    Coyote bullet

Hard to beat any of your 55’s. Take your pick. Growing up I shot everything smaller than deer w/a 223 and whatever 55gn Cannelure SP was the very cheapest in bulk. Win, REM, and/Hornady. They’re probably gonna exit. If they exit ahead of the “paunch”, you won’t see a lot of damage. If they...
