180 gr swift out of a 30-378 seems to kill them pretty good…….

I shoot 58 grain Vmax out of my .243 AI and have never had a coyote take an extra step.

How many have you shot with them. Coyotes have a will to live like a Elk.

Alot but every shot is under 200 yards. Ive had a few get away wounded at night with my .260. They are alot tougher than a guy gives them credit for.

25-06 SS 700 Mountain Rifle, projectile is correct.

A-Max’d one @ 475 yesterday. Sitting, Quartering away, dialed 4.25 MOA elevation above my 200yd zero. Wind was 3/4 value @ 8-12, held the upwind hairline.

Bullet went in just behind the ribs and exited the off-side scapula. Flop. Nothing dramatic about the entrance or exit.
