    Weed~

I agree, legalize it, but God damn can we please stop acting like it's some kind of cure for everything, like dude man, like just smoke it dude and like the cancer just goes away dude like it just cures aids dude, like if all those people in third world countries had weed there'd be no malaria...

Alligator in the Yellowstone south of williston

Gators are cheap, and anyone can buy one for a pet. They grow fast and get dumped in rivers and lakes almost as often as unwanted cats n dogs get dumped in the country. They'd never last a winter here, they can tolerate short cold periods (upper 20s max) but certainly not a ND winter.

    I'm addicted to Power Pro

As with any braid, abraision is the enemy. I had this problem with 30, 50, and 100lb test. Turns out, while I was letting my bait sit on bottom, the current was rubbing my line in the sand, or tops of the sand bars, which would wear and weaken the line causing it to break in odd random spots...

    jigging raps

I call em snaggin raps....the hard fast dropping into the bottom action makes Walters zoom over n try to pin them down, and on the next rip, you snag em in the pecs, making a 14" fish feel like it's 24". Do not use where carp, buffalo, Cisco, or paddlefish are abundant unless you're really...

    Fishing/Tent Camping on Sakakawea

The primitive campground for tents is usually not too crowded, sometimes there's hardly anyone there. With the walleye bite as hot as it is right now, I'd avoid the parshall van hook area if you're trying to stay away from the crowds.

    Fishing/Tent Camping on Sakakawea

New State Record Walleye Caught any truth?

Fish growth is fast the first few years, then slows down as the fish gets older. These measurements are averaged between males and females. If it were all females the lengths would be longer...

    I'm addicted to Power Pro

Only problem I've had with salmon is the thrash so hard and have soft mouths, so with no stretch in the braid it seems to rip the hooks outta salmonoid mouths easier. Mono's stretch seems to absorb alot of that shock.

    I'm addicted to Power Pro

Lay the spool flat on the floor, reel in 10 or so cranks of new line, then flip the spool, reel 10 cranks, flip the spool, repeat till spool is empty. - - - Updated - - - That's what lots of guys on other forums are saying, just wondering if any of you guys have tried it. Super cheap. I...

    I'm addicted to Power Pro

I have one reel that holds 4,000 yards of line, plus the countless other reels that hold 200-1,000 yards. That money adds up quick.

    lake trout

Everything I'm finding says Lakers stress at 60 degrees. I see temps in the mid 60s in the tailrace, which comes from the deepest part of the lake.

    lake trout

Ft peck is just a bit colder than sak. I believe it's deeper to. Lakers don't tolerate warmer water like salmon do.

    lake trout

Sakakawea is just a few degrees too warm for them in the fall after the lake turns over. - - - Updated - - - Lots of lake trout stocked in sakakawea for many years, they just never made it. I've caught two in the tailrace, but I suspect those were washed down from ft peck, since it was during...
