    Trap? Pshhh....just go find a rocky coffee dam at night and scoop em up in a dip net. They start gathering n climbing up the dams and wet rocks at sunset. I can usually fill half a five gallon bucket in an hour or two.

    Mono or fluoro shock leaders solve the abrasion issues with nano. And reduce the visibilty of the line on your lure.

    Was it a single stage metallic paint? If you try n buff single stage metallic it smears it all to shit because the compound moves the metallic around. With single stage finishes you can only buff solid colors. Colors with pearl or metallic have to be two stage, base coat clear coat to buff.

    I dunno...just my opinion. different species need to be hung on a wall differently. Catfish, sharks, 99% of all saltwater species, trout, salmon, and panfish are better as replicas. replica walleyes, however, just dont look as nice as a skin mount. Half the problem is most walleye blanks...

    Paint is paint, wether its on aluminum or fiberglass. Go to a local paint store and have them match the paint with a prophet reader. Get a bit in a single stage paint. Apply 3-4 coats in the scratches with a touch up brush until tje scratches are filled. Sand smooth with 1200-1500 paper...
