    IMO: "Hunting" guns should not allowed to be "hot" during transport. All firearms cannot be fired at game within 25ft of a public improved road. Trespass laws are still in place.

    ^^^^Correct. Sadly outside of a high fence operation this deer has a higher than average chance of dying slowly in secluded cold water from sepsis. Once saw a cousin empty a '94 Win at a forkhorn without firing a shot. Sorry for the bummer. I've also seen a few "things" "up here".
