    We're Sitting Ducks. Still.

I forget how to make a water purifier. I should find it and print of a copy before the big one hits. Anyway, you use a 50 gal plastic barrel and mostly sand. Water in the top, and pure water out the bottom. May need some home made charcoal or something too. Can't remember. Edit: Wow...

    We're Sitting Ducks. Still.

The first threat people will face is the liberals again. The ones that think they should have half of what you work for now. When food gets scarce they will think they should have half of yours. Your going to have to solve that problem. Perhaps that solution shouldn't be posted.

    Vertigo

That's what they did for me. I remembered that maneuver, and have done it myself twice since. Works every time for me. Couldn't believe it the first time. The world was spinning so bad I could hardly stand. Does it work for a viral induced vertigo?

    One battery or two?

Each speed has a different amp draw and it should be listed in the owners manual. I forget what my old 35 Minnkota would draw, something like 12 amps on number four speed. I run a 125 amp deep cycle so divide your amp draw into the total of your battery. 12 amps into a 125 amp would give you...

    Retaining Wall Block fireplace??

I put one together like that this summer for my daughter-in-laws birthday. My son (her husband) was in the hospital for five months. After being on a resuscitator for 65 days and unable to talk for three months I thought they both needed a tiny bit of something to look forward to. I sure hope...

FBI Goes Back to 9mm While Military?...

Bed Wetter those 9X21 are very nice. I carry a 45 on duty most of the time, but am going to also qualify with a 9mm this year. I picked up a S&W V-TAC as a plinker, but it had a terrible trigger pull. I kept it a month and traded it on a XDM Competition. That is the first centerfire semi...

    Retaining Wall Block fireplace??

They make a block without the lip so they fit flush. Then use a landscape glue for blocks. I have a deck that is 20 years old and has not shifted 1/4 inch. I also built a fireplace four years ago and cook in it often. No plans just drew it up from scratch. This spring I added 12 inches so it...

    Kitchen Cabinets

Yes hire someone. I went to Minnesota and bought wood, then came home and wasted a chunk of my life building and installing my own. Never again.

    Lead in Blood

20 lb. I have cast up to 60 lb in a day. Hollow point bullets are time consuming, but a double mould 405 gr goes through a lot of lead. Adding new lead cools you down so I often run two smelters. Then moulds get hot so I often run four moulds at a time. That requires two vents.

    Lead in Blood

Oh crap. I remember cutting the interior out of one of those 50cal ammo cans with a torch. I was sick for two days afterwards. Back in those days no one heard of OSHA rules for work. Not lead, but not good for a guy either. When casting bullets I run a 200 CFPM fan right next to my lead...

    Arrow Recommendations

I shoot Maxima also. I don't shoot the Red, but rather the camo. I really don't think there is any difference. I notice when I hit the leg in my 3D target with a 50# longbow the head will push back and split the shaft in my Gold Tip. I seldom miss that bad with the compound, but it has...

Do RED hooks make a difference??

Have you ever watched people fly fishing trout. I have seen guys grab an insect off the water, then wade to shore and tie up a fly as best they can to match it. One day ice fishing Spiritwood Lake I was pulling perch from deep water. Insects mostly have clear blood but a species of...

    Long range shooting

I will second your opinion opinion Kurt. I don'the have my old program that gave me recoil, but I do remember the 243 was 11ft/lb recoil, the Creed 13, and the 308 18lb if that helps. The 6.5 Creed, the 260, and the 6.5 Sweed are all about the same. The Creedmoor has a shorter fatter case and...

    Long range shooting

I wonder if they would sell totally blank turrets cheap. Some rifles I shoot one load, but for example my 308 I have one match, two subsonic loads,, and a light and heavy long range load.
