    These are pretty much my go to colors, but I like a long shank hook jig head. Fishing in a current situation, the long shank hook produces more hook ups than a standard hook. My suspicion is that the fish have such a short time to look over a bait before it's past them due to current speeds...

    Buffing out dock rash

    Color match Nail Polish in the scratch with a thin layer of clear over the top has worked for me when I cared about fixing scratches. If you're careful with the clear coat, buffing is unnecessary. Now, I just don't look at the scratches anymore and I'm much happier.

    When I don't hear a voice immediately after I answer a call, I hang up. Robocalls always seem to have that momentary delay. The number of robocalls I get has been greatly diminished as of late.

    I'd choose the one that will fit into the space you plan on keeping it whilst you fish. The rest will work itself out when you find out which flies work where you fish. Good Luck!!

    Hang in there BBJ. A couple of bumps in the road, that's all. Too many fish to catch, critters to watch, sunshine to catch, and life to live. Figure if God had a job for you upstairs, you'd be hard at it right now. Sent a request to keep that job unfilled for awhile though. (Wink)

    Getting old sucks!!!

    Worked 160 heifers a couple weeks ago with a friend and the two day stiffness was a barrel of laughs. Finding out one's NOT the tip of the spear anymore, but closer to the other end really smacks the hell outta the ego. Guess I'll just go Muddin'. (Grin)
