    They ARE a glitch. Tried to buy my required combo license to go turkey hunting this spring due to their new process and had to do it 4 times over three days before their system took it. It's laughable.

    Spring time fishing question

    I'd put a propane heater (think ice fishing) in the shelter on them cold nights facing your motor. Should keep the motor and bilge pumps warm enough to keep the water inside from freezing. Don't use your livewell or baitwells until it's warm enough.

    Twould be interesting SDMF. I don't worry about guides to much as they are an indication of the fishing success for a given body of water IMO. More guides means there's better fishing. As far as fishing out DL, I'll worry about that when the number of guides crashes and I'm unable to catch...

    The reel, no question about it. A smooth drag, smooth line deployment and retrieval, quality components, gear ratio, as well as how well a reel fits in your hand lend far more to catching fish than the rod. A quality reel will make up for the shortcomings in a rod by a large margin. Of course...
