    Your 1st guns?

    1918 Danzing Mauser in 8mm and 12ga Mod 37. I assume now both for Dad's amusement. Sat on the ground and tucked the butt under my arm. Both guns have enough power to nearly back flip an eight year old. When I was nine I was allowed to empty a 20rd mag on full auto from an M-16.

    Flat base tend to be more accurate. The boattail really doesn't come into play until past 400.
