    My 9.9 idles too fast

    At idle it runs at about 3.0 mph. I'd like to be able to get down to that 1.8 range. Any ideas? Has a 3 blade prop. Would I be better off going with a 4 blade? I will try and mess with the idle, and see if I can get it down a bit.

    Rodger that. I used wire nuts, then sealed up. I used to be on the black electrical tape for president band wagon, when I was younger. I am gradually moving up the wiring sophistication chain.
